Walter Van der Veken

After studying philosophy and mathematics at the University of Ghent Walter obtained his MBA at the
Vlerickschool of Management (Ghent) and followed the IEP (International Executive Programme) at
INSEAD (Fontainebleau, Singapore).  He worked for major international companies such as Xerox,
Océ and Belgacom in sales and marketing management and general management, as well in
Belgium as abroad.  He is a specialist in b-to-b marketing, sales management and the start-up of
distribution channels. He has experience in working with smaller as well as larger multinational
companies. At Xerox and Belgacom he was actively involved in several Business Process
Management and Re-engineering projects and has expertise in BPM, TQM, ISO and Change
Management. He co-founded CAIRA Consulting and is Managing Partner.
